Dozens of seniors at Norwood High School participated in last month’s ¨Stop The Bleed¨ for CPR and first aid certification. Scarlet Oaks instructor Dane Fienning partnered with the Norwood Fire Department to offer seniors an opportunity to earn a seal on their diploma and use the experience for resumes. 

The students were taught about a tourniquet and how to pack a wound, and then they practiced CPR and ventilation on dummy dolls. Students not only earned certification but scored a free lunch from Chick-Fil-A.
